Something Vloggy This Way Comes- A Poem by Jo @somethingvloggy2017
Jo wrote a spooky poem that was partly inspired by the onset of Halloween, and partly by the fact that some would like to think our house is haunted.
Once the poem was written the logical next step was, of course, to turn it into a film. Because why not?
Although Jo wrote, filmed, and edited the piece, it was Ian who inadvertently titled it.

Something Vloggy This Way Comes
Every house has its noises, its creaks upon the stair, a rattling pipe, a whirring fan, a fly up in the air.
But some noises aren’t the houses as they settle and they moan.
They’re the beasts below the stairs that wake you with their groans.
They whisper through the curtains, they dance upon the stairs.
They’re the disembodied creaks and bangs that fright the colour from your hairs.
When half asleep you go reaching for the light, beware you do not venture out into the night.
Do not put your feet upon the ground, just lay wrapped up and pretend that you are sleeping sound.
So beware the house upon the hill that shrouds itself in night, and pray that your weary soul will live to see the light.
